Our Five Editorial Principles
Evidence-Informed Content
We ground our articles in peer-reviewed research, scientific literature, and expert consensus. Every major claim is traceable to credible sources.
Accuracy & Transparency
We disclose our sources, conflicts of interest, and limitations. When we don't have definitive answers, we say so.
Balanced Perspective
We present multiple viewpoints on complex topics and acknowledge the limitations of current research in longevity and nervous system science.
Regular Updates
Science evolves. We review and update our articles as new evidence emerges, and we date all content to help readers understand when information was published.
Reader Trust
Your wellbeing and trust are paramount. We never prioritise commercial interests over accuracy, and we welcome reader questions.
Our Fact-Checking Process
Research & Source Verification
Before writing begins, our editorial team identifies peer-reviewed sources, published studies, and expert consensus. We prioritise recent research whilst respecting foundational science. All primary claims are traced to original sources, not secondary summaries.
Internal Editorial Review
Each article passes through multiple editorial rounds. Our team checks for accuracy, clarity, logical flow, and alignment with our evidence standards. We flag unsupported claims and request revisions before publication.
Expert Consultation
For technical or specialised topics, we consult our advisory board of neuroscientists, longevity researchers, and practitioners. They review articles for scientific accuracy and offer perspective on current debates within their fields.
Disclosure of Limitations
We clearly state what we know, what we don't know, and where evidence is still emerging. We disclose if a topic has competing viewpoints or if research is preliminary. Readers should always understand the confidence level of our claims.

Corrections & Updates Policy
How We Correct Errors
Accuracy is fundamental to our mission. If we publish information that later proves inaccurate or misleading, we correct it promptly. All corrections are documented and clearly marked with:
- A correction notice at the top or within the article
- The date the correction was made
- A clear explanation of what was corrected and why
How We Update Content
Science evolves, and so does our content. We regularly review our articles to ensure they reflect the latest evidence. When we make significant updates that change the meaning or advice in an article, we:
- Update the publication date or add an "Last updated" timestamp
- Note significant revisions at the top of the article
- Cite newly available research or expert guidance
Report an Error
If you spot an inaccuracy, outdated information, or a source that doesn't support our claim, please tell us. We welcome reader feedback and take all concerns seriously.
Email us at [email protected] with:
- The article title and URL
- The specific claim or section you believe is inaccurate
- Supporting evidence or sources
We will review your report and respond within two weeks with our findings. If we identify an error, we will correct it and credit you if you wish.
Author Credentials
Every article includes information about the author, including their background, expertise, and any relevant affiliations. This transparency helps you evaluate the author's perspective and qualifications.
We only publish on nervous system health and longevity if the author has relevant research experience, professional training, or documented expertise in that area. Guest contributions are reviewed by our editorial team and clearly marked as such.
Conflicts of Interest & Disclosure
We believe transparency builds trust. Here's what you should know about how we operate:
Editorial Independence
Our content decisions are driven by editorial judgment and evidence quality, not financial incentives. We do not accept money to promote products or services. Our articles are not influenced by advertisers or commercial partners.
Affiliate Relationships
If we reference a product, service, or resource and have a financial relationship with its provider, we disclose that clearly. You will see a note like "[Partner link]" or "[Affiliate]" so you can make an informed decision.
Author Affiliations
Where relevant, we disclose if an author is employed by, financially supported by, or has a personal stake in a product, research institution, or company. This helps readers evaluate potential bias.
Limitations & Disclaimers
We publish information for education and awareness. Our content is not a substitute for professional advice, and we make this clear consistently.
Not Medical Advice
Our articles provide general information on nervous system health and longevity, but they do not replace professional consultation. Always consult qualified practitioners before making changes to your routine.
Research is Evolving
Science on longevity and nervous system function is still developing. Conclusions in current research may change as new evidence emerges. We update our articles to reflect these changes.
Individual Variation
Responses to practices and lifestyle changes vary widely between individuals. What works for one person may not work for another. Context, biology, and personal history all matter.
